Huye keeps on remembering Genocide victims

While commemorations of the 1994 genocide against Tutsis continue in Huye district, residents are called for informing on the areas where might be the bodies of genocide victims to be honorably interred.  The message was offered on Wednesday the 18th April 2012, while commemorating genocide in Simbi sector.

Hon. Jacqueline Mukakanyamugenge who had joined the district in commemoration said it should be better if all genocide victims are well buried, because survivors feel well when their relatives are honorably buried.  She said everyone should be involved in giving information of places where can be found the bodies of genocide victims.

All who took speech along this ceremony told genocide survivors to keep on remembering victims of the 1994 genocide by preparing their future to be brighter.

In this commemoration in Simbi, two bodies were buried with honor and people living in the area were told to keep on searching other bodies since there are other people whose are not yet found so far.
